Everything a canvasser can do, plus route management, literature, live view, reports, and local tag management — without the ability to manage users or branch settings.
What You Can Do
Branch assistants sit between canvassers and branch managers. You have full operational management tools, but you cannot invite or manage users, approve suggested tags, or change branch settings.

Canvassing
As a branch assistant you have the full canvasser experience. See the Canvasser Guide for complete documentation on visiting households, recording residents, routes, activity, badges, policy articles, and profile settings.
Routes & Literature
You can create, edit, and delete routes and areas for your branch, and manage the literature list canvassers record leaving at doors. See the Branch Manager Routes section for full documentation — the same tools are available to you.
Route Statuses
Live View
The Live Map shows all canvassers who have an active in-progress route and have opted in to location sharing — updated every 30 seconds.
Local Parties & Issues
You can add and manage local parties and local issue tags for your branch — the same tools available to a branch manager.
Local Parties
Add parties specific to your area that don't appear in the national list. Set their colour, sort order, and manage the reason tags associated with each. See Local Parties in the Branch Manager Guide for full details.
Local Issue Tags
Create, edit, and delete issue tags specific to your branch. Tags you add are immediately available in the canvasser's resident form. See Local Issues in the Branch Manager Guide.
Suggested Tags
You can view canvasser tag suggestions but cannot approve or reject them — that requires a branch manager. A badge on Suggested Tags in the sidebar shows the pending count.

You have access to the full suite of branch-level reports. See the Branch Manager Reports section for full documentation — all the same reports are available to you.
